I love art a lot, more and more..Studying it everyday, and I love it!

But there are some people that LOVE to make you down, everytime trying to down you, saying such stupid things. And there are other people that are always down, saying that art is hard, I can't do this and that and instead of trying to study or do something, they are sad, seeing facebook.
Art is hard, I had a lot of times being down because of that, but what I am able to see now is that being such person will not let you progress in anything, forget facebook, forget saying for your friends how you don't have that skill you want, or your gallery is not a success you want, instead, study! Skills are cumulative, if you do something today it will be great for your future.

I used to be down, but not anymore.

I suffered a lot from this sort of problem years ago when I was being bullied (online and in real-life) although at the same time, I didn't really take my art 'too seriously' until around 2010 when I got inspired by Ratchet & Clank. I decided my art & style wasn't good enough for that franchise & my new ideas, so I made changes.
So I guess I owe that series for helping me get back on track and try to get better ^^; before I did, I couldn't draw guns, vehicles, armour, etc at all... as well as more variety. So I'm glad it helped me improve.
But even today I still struggle a bit at times, especially when people harass me over silly matters & talk bad about me, my art and my ideas. My self-esteem can be low too, but I do try my best not to let it get to me. I also try not to react to any form of trolling or bullying (I feel it's best to ignore and move on, most of the time)

I'm one of those artists who find it difficult to draw when I'm not feeling good about myself (vent art is not something I do too often, because of that) but when I feel like I have strength, I can push myself to do something I could be happy with. I also dislike Facebook, I rarely go on there :XD: only for family reasons and other personal things.

So yeah I'm trying to keep my esteem up and not hate on my own artwork too much... well, I guess it's better than having an inflated ego & think that I'm perfect! XD (and not accept critique!) but hey, if I hated my art, I would have given up long ago. So I guess I am happy with where I'm heading, but I do know I have a lot of work to go. I'm still working hard to improve my style & all ^^; I also don't mind critiques, actually. Sometimes I do it to myself if nobody else does it, but it often helps to have another person's opinion on how to improve.
